A cottage that is full of character and charm, Smuggler's Watch is a memorable holiday retreat for summer or winter breaks, in an area famous for its picturesque coastline. Original features of the property include thick stone walls and ceilings with wooden beams.
Dry stone walls border the attractive front garden and the garden gate leads to a rear garden that is fully enclosed and has a patio with table and chairs. The sandy beach at Bossiney Haven is within walking distance, via cliff steps, and is popular with surfers and bird watching enthusiasts.
There is a nautical theme to the decoration in the cottage, particularly on the ground floor level, where you will find an interesting selection of sea-faring objects, pictures and an original ship's wheel.
Lounge:
With two large sofas and other comfy chairs, the snug lounge has a marble fireplace with real log fire, wooden flooring with rugs, TV and shelving in the alcoves. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the
crackling fire or watch a film with your fellow travellers.
Dining Room:
Ideal for a family meal, a special occasion dinner or a dinner party, this Elizabethan room has a mahogany dining table with 7 chairs and additional seating, a tiled floor and a beamed ceiling.
Kitchen and Utility Room:
Equipment includes an electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer for clothes. All of the equipment, cooking pots and utensils required
for a comfortable self-catering holiday are provided.
First Floor Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and a single bed (or a travel cot for a baby). Bedroom 2 has twin beds and Bedroom 3 a set of bunk beds.
Family Bathroom:
With both bath and shower (and toilet and wash basin) this is also on first floor level (additional downstairs toilet as well).
