Anglers and Fishermen: nearby Boscastle is a sea fishing paradise! Bring your beach caster and feathers and fish for as many mackerel and pollock as you like!
In May 2011, a Grey Seal was spotted in Boscastle harbour, locals named him 'Willy'.
The area around Bossiney and Tintagel is ideal for a walking holiday - a 'Heritage Coast Circular Walk' begins in the lovely village of Bossiney. Visit Tintagel, only a short drive from the - Holiday Cottage - to discover the mysterious legend of King Arthur and his castle on the clifftops.
Alternatively, for an interesting day out you can visit the renowned Eden Project Attraction - a gigantic rain forest, huge greenhouses, thousands of different plant species to learn about and 'biomes' where the climate from much warmer parts of the world has been recreated.
A number of excellent golf courses are within a short drive of - Smuggler's Watch Cottage - these including Bowood Golf and Country Club which is only five miles away.
The holiday cottage is approximately 100 yards from the winding footpath to Bossiney Cove Beach. The local shops, Restaurants and Pubs are within half a mile.
